Description

CM DP Nesting shank cutters LEUCO, Z=3+3 are designed for use on CNC machines. Their field of application covers panel sizing in the Nesting process and facing, rebating and *grooving (negative version) in solid wood and wood-based materials. Stated design features: with DP drilling cut, face cut for angled plunging and a steel tool body. Claimed strengths: excellent cut quality thanks to a specially studied arrangement of the cuts, positive spirals: optimal upward chip extraction into the extraction system, and negative helix: cutting force and chip extraction downwards. The series comprises 2 versions: outside diameter of 12 mm, shank from 12 to 16 mm, overall length of 75 mm and 3 teeth. Cutting material: polycrystalline diamond (DP). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: clamping: very precise clamping systems are recommended (e.g. TRIBOS, ps-System) and with a thread for a pre-setting screw.
