Collet chucks with SK taper LEUCO are designed for use on CNC machining centres with an automatic tool changer. Their field of application covers clamping tools with cylindrical shanks. Stated design features: taper to DIN ISO 7388 (without positioning groove or fixing groove), BT taper to Japanese standard MAS - 403 (for ident. no. 176102) and friction nut (except ident. no. 177304 with ball bearing). Claimed strengths: improved machine uptime thanks to simple, fast tool changing, and excellent cut quality and tool life thanks to high concentricity precision. The series comprises 5 versions: diameter from 43 to 60 mm. Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: use on the right or on the left, and delivery: collet chuck, friction nut and pull stud.
