DIAMAX SmartJointer airFace DP facing tool bodies, Fibonacci equip edge banding machines and are intended for flag-type facing with a reduced noise level on solid wood panels and coated or uncoated wood-based materials, with particular emphasis on reducing the noise level and the imbalance. Design details given by the manufacturer: a patented arrangement of the cuts based on the Fibonacci principle and an aluminium tool body in the airFace version. Benefits claimed in use: a unique, optimal arrangement of the cuts with no overcut, and a further noise reduction of up to -3 dB (A) thanks to the AirFace design.
