Description

DP facing cutters CM p-System LEUCO, MAN are designed for use on spindle moulders and for finished quality, even on fibrous materials such as textile-coated panels, linoleum with jute fibres, cork and so on. Their field of application covers the high-performance, chip-free facing of solid wood (knot-free) along or across the grain, and the high-performance facing and sizing of melamine-faced, paper-coated, HPL-coated, plastic-film-coated and veneered wood-based materials and of lacquered surfaces. Stated design features: symmetrical, non-curved version. Claimed strengths: maximum cut quality and tool life, and large depths of cut possible. The series comprises 4 versions: outside diameter of 125 mm, bore of 30 mm, cutting width from 28.2 to 47.8 mm and number of teeth from 2 to 3. Cutting material: polycrystalline diamond (DP). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: use against the feed, and recommended feed per tooth: wood-based materials 0.8 mm, solid wood 0.4 mm.
