High-performance carbide shank cutters, VHW Cutters for are designed for use on CNC machines and are particularly suited to grooving in aluminium. Their field of application covers facing, rebating and grooving aluminium or copper alloy materials and non-ferrous materials, and angled plunging with simultaneous use of the Z and X or Y axes. Stated design features: positive helix and polished chip clearance. Claimed strengths: particularly suited to working high-silicon aluminium, optimal chip clearance and excellent cut quality thanks to the polished chip clearance and the positive helix, and reduced cutting force thanks to the radius. The series comprises 5 versions: outside diameter from 5 to 12 mm, shank from 6 to 12 mm, overall length from 70 to 120 mm and 1 tooth. Cutting material: solid carbide (VHW).
