Description

HS hydro planing tool bodies LEUCO are designed for use on hydro moulders. Their field of application covers planing solid wood. Stated design features: max. speed = 9,000 rpm. Claimed strengths: a high level of concentricity and vibration-free rotation thanks to perfect centring and the Weinig hydro system, and a high feed rate while keeping optimal cut quality. The series comprises 25 versions: outside diameter from 143 to 163 mm, bore from 40 to 50 mm, cutting width from 60 to 310 mm and number of teeth from 4 to 8. Cutting material: high-speed steel (HS). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: fitted with HS knives 30 x 3 mm, and alternative cutting material: ST for softwoods and hardwoods; HW for hardwoods and exotic woods.
