HS profiling tool bodies LEUCO, Powerlock with Weinig HSK equip “Weinig Powermat” moulders. Applications intended by the manufacturer: profiling solid wood. Design details given by the manufacturer: 20 degree rake angle (12 degrees as a special) and max. speed = 12,000 rpm. Benefits claimed in use: knives secured by a precision 60° serration with a 1.6 mm pitch, and high profile precision and surface quality because the knives are ground directly in the tool body. The article group brings together 40 versions: outside diameter of 90 mm, cutting width from 40 to 240 mm and number of teeth from 2 to 4. Cutting material: high-speed steel (HS). Conditions of use specified by LEUCO: re-adjustable knives, a lateral stop built into the tool body, and the knife setting can be checked through openings.
