HW 3P blank inserts (vertical format) LEUCO are part of the LEUCO tool programme for machining wood and panels. Their field of application covers use in LEUCO EcoPro tool bodies and other tool bodies. Stated design features: two seating points and one stop point, option: topline sharpening (polished tooth face), cutting material: HW and HL Board 06 for wood-based materials, plastics and hardwoods. Claimed strengths: very precise positioning of the blank inserts during profiling as well as when the inserts are fitted to the tool body, and topline version: excellent cut quality with a marked improvement in the cutting edges. The series comprises 53 versions: bore of 5 mm. Cutting material: alloy steel (HL) and carbide (HW). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: can be profiled to the customer’s wishes.
