HW EcoPro shank tool bodies for large decorative grooves, Z2 equip CNC machines. Applications intended by the manufacturer: milling large decorative grooves in solid wood and wood-based materials. Design details given by the manufacturer: cutting material: HW HL Board 06 for hardwoods and wood-based materials, cutting material: HW HL Solid 60 for softwoods, shank with internal M8 thread able to take an adjusting screw, and with axial angle. Benefits claimed in use: excellent cut quality, including across the grain in solid wood, thanks to the axial angle, and tool body and indexable inserts profiled on request. The article group brings together 10 versions: outside diameter from 76 to 143 mm, shank of 25 mm, overall length from 101 to 122 mm and 2 teeth. Cutting material: carbide (HW). Conditions of use specified by LEUCO: inserts can be profiled to the customer’s wishes, the tool body can be used for one profile only, and the stop screw is to be ordered separately.
