Description

HW segments for segmented hoggers LEUCO - design 2 are part of the LEUCO tool programme for machining wood and panels. Their field of application covers the complete hogging of offcuts in wood-based materials. Stated design features: the first two teeth are in diamond and the following ones in carbide, the flank of the first tooth of the segment is bevelled at 10 degrees, and with axial angle. Claimed strengths: no exit chipping when ripping. The series comprises 2 versions. Cutting material: polycrystalline diamond (DP) and carbide (HW). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: for offcut widths up to 18 mm, ready for mounting on DP segmented hoggers Ø 200 mm and Ø 250 mm, and segments to be mounted only as a set; one set consists of 4 segments for Ø 200 mm / 6 segments for Ø 250 mm.
