HW segments for segmented hoggers, Segmented hoggers are part of the LEUCO tool programme for machining wood and panels. The tool is used for the complete hogging of offcuts in wood-based materials. In terms of design, LEUCO provides: ident-No.177376 and 177377: the flank of the first tooth of the segment is bevelled at 10 degrees, with axial angle and brazed in HW. Advantages highlighted by LEUCO: no chipping on exit in crosscutting. The range comes in 4 versions. Cutting material: carbide (HW). To consider before ordering: for offcut widths up to 18 mm, ready for mounting on HW and DP segmented hoggers Ø 200 mm and Ø 250 mm, and the segments are mounted only as a set; one set consists of: 4 segments for Ø 200 mm / 6 segments for Ø 250 mm.
