HW spiral cutterheads LEUCO, Planing cutterheads are intended for stationary machining centres. They are used for cutting to length, pre-planing, facing, rebating and copy routing solid wood and plywood. What the LEUCO design provides: with 4-edge reversible inserts, 2 carbide end scribers, reduced cutting force through the helical arrangement of the inserts, and an aluminium tool body. What the manufacturer highlights: easy machining, minimum cutting force with a reduced noise level, and high hogging capacity. This range covers 2 versions: outside diameter of 80 mm, bore of 30 mm, cutting width from 80 to 100 mm and 2 teeth. Cutting material: carbide (HW). Notes on use: for HSK chucks with double keying without spacer rings, for ID no. 183678 clamping length 50 mm with HSK chuck, and for ID no. 183679 clamping length 80 mm with HSK chuck.
