HW UltraProfiler plus tool bodies (angled) LEUCO, MAN are intended for machining centres, double-end tenoners and moulders. They are used for profiling solid wood and wood-based materials. What the LEUCO design provides: a tool body in high-strength aluminium alloy, with axial angle and cutting material: HW HL Board 06 for solid wood and wood-based materials. What the manufacturer highlights: large profile depths possible, tool body and indexable inserts profiled on request, cutting speed up to 80 m/s and concentricity precision 0.03 mm. This range covers 4 versions: outside diameter from 150 to 195 mm, bore of 30 mm, cutting width from 32 to 40 mm and 2 teeth. Cutting material: carbide (HW). Notes on use: indexable inserts available in topline design (polished rake face, precision-ground clearance face), with a larger axial angle the number of teeth can be reduced, and direction of rotation to VDMA 8849.
