Description

The BLK2GO is a handheld imaging laser scanner designed to scan while walking, without a tripod or a fixed station. The operator switches it on and walks through the place: the device produces in real time three-dimensional point clouds at exact scale as well as images. It captures 420,000 points per second thanks to a dual-axis LiDAR dome and to a vision system bringing together a 12 megapixel detail camera and three panoramic cameras. GrandSLAM technology, which combines visual SLAM, LiDAR SLAM and an inertial measurement unit, allows it to know its position and to follow the path travelled. Its range runs from 0.5 to 25 metres, its field covers 360 degrees horizontally and 270 degrees vertically, and the IP54 rating protects an anodised aluminium housing weighing 775 grams. The handle incorporates WLAN, a USB-C port and a battery allowing 45 minutes of continuous scanning.
