Mosquito VHW through-hole drill bits LEUCO are designed for use on manual drilling machines and automatic drilling machines. Their field of application covers the chip-free drilling of through holes in solid wood and wood-based materials. Stated design features: a special cutting geometry and an extra-fine carbide drilling point. Claimed strengths: chip-free drilling thanks to a special cutting geometry, and a high feed rate with up to 6 times more tool life than a conventional bit thanks to the solid carbide version. The series comprises 15 versions: drilling diameter from 3 to 10 mm, shank of 10 mm, overall length from 70 to 100 mm and 2 teeth. Cutting material: solid carbide (VHW). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: adjusting screw Ident-No. 001600 M5x10 DIN 551 included in the delivery, and through-hole drill bits with a shank length L3=24 mm are not suited to the Weeke adjusting screw.
