Description

UltraProfiler plus tool bodies (straight) LEUCO, MAN are aimed at machining centres, double-end tenoners and moulders. The tool is used for profiling solid wood and wood-based materials. In terms of design, LEUCO provides: a high-strength aluminium alloy tool body, with axial angle, and cutting material: HW HL Board 06 for solid wood and wood-based materials. Advantages highlighted by LEUCO: large profile depths are possible, tool body and indexable inserts profiled on request, cutting speed up to 80 m/s and concentricity precision 0.03 mm. The range comes in 4 versions: outside diameter from 115 to 180 mm, bore of 30 mm, cutting width of 15 mm and 2 teeth. Cutting material: carbide (HW). To consider before ordering: indexable inserts are available in the topline version (polished rake face, precisely ground clearance face), with a larger axial angle the number of teeth may be reduced, and direction of rotation to VDMA 8849.
