Description

VHW polishing shank cutter for acrylic and Plexiglas LEUCO, Z5 is aimed at CNC machines, and caution: these tools are not intended for sizing or cutting out, but only for polishing. The tool is used for finish machining in acrylic and Plexiglas. In terms of design, LEUCO provides: positive helix and top-grade solid carbide with 5 cutting edges. Advantages highlighted by LEUCO: shorter production time as no further rework is needed, and it produces relatively transparent surfaces, often good enough as they are. The range comes in 2 versions: outside diameter from 6 to 8 mm, shank from 6 to 8 mm, overall length from 60 to 70 mm and 5 teeth. Cutting material: solid carbide (VHW). To consider before ordering: finish routing with a depth of cut of 0.05 - 0.1 at a feed of about 0.5 – 1 m/min, a high speed is recommended (18,000 - 24,000 rpm or more) and use against the feed.
