VHW roughing and finishing cutters for honeycomb panels LEUCO are designed for use on CNC machines and in particular in many lightweight construction materials, such as honeycomb panels (plastic, aluminium), lightweight wood panels, plywood and composite panels with a rigid foam core. Their field of application covers sizing and grooving, and the routing of vision panel openings and contours. Stated design features: special serration of the roughing edges and alternating axial angle. Claimed strengths: high cutting quality thanks to the axial angle and to the finishing edges, and low effort thanks to the splitting of the cut and to the roughing tooth form. The series comprises 6 versions: outside diameter from 12 to 20 mm, shank from 12 to 20 mm, overall length from 86 to 110 mm and number of teeth from 2 to 3. Cutting material: solid carbide (VHW). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: clamping system: it is recommended to use ps-System hydraulic expansion chucks, TRIBOS or shrink-fit chucks.
