100 Altair, Sunnyvale

Rising above downtown Sunnyvale, 100 Altair sets a new standard for workspace design in Silicon Valley. The project rests on abundant daylight, indoor-outdoor flow, informal collaboration zones and sustainably sourced materials.

Kebony modified wood is used across the building: as exterior facade accents, as interior wall cladding and as outdoor decking.

Its warm tones and refined texture offset the glass-and-steel palette that dominates the building, while its durability and low maintenance support long-term architectural performance. Using a single material across facade, interior walls and decking also gives the project visual continuity between inside and out, in line with the indoor-outdoor flow the design sets out to achieve.
