Accoya Color Grey deck and pool surround

In the courtyard of a family house in France, a deck and its pool surround were built in Accoya Color Grey, replacing an old hardwood deck that had rotted. The owner wanted a durable wood he would not have to replace for decades, pleasant underfoot around the pool: Accoya stays smooth over time, without cracks or splinters. Won over by the silver-grey patina of his old deck, he opted for pre-greyed boards without the burden of the annual re-oiling that conventional alternatives require.
