Accoya Color Grey for an elegant terrace in the heart of nature

In North Rhine-Westphalia, Accoya Color Grey was chosen for the pool surround of an exclusive residential project, completed in March 2021. One of the pioneering projects using this through-coloured wood in Germany, it integrates a natural swimming pond into the formal structure within an organic arrangement of gravel and aquatic plants. The natural grey tone of the wood creates an elegant atmosphere that blends harmoniously into the landscape, in dialogue with stone and water. Accoya Color was chosen for its consistent colour right through the board, which considerably simplifies maintenance, as well as for its robustness and durability around the pool. Water treatment, provided by gravel filters and plants with no chemicals at all, confirms the ecological concept of the whole: a durable, undemanding retreat that combines modern design with respect for nature.
