Mežaparka birojs office building in Riga

In the green and prestigious Mežaparks district of Riga, the Mežaparka birojs office building was built by Citrus Solutions along sustainable construction principles and holds a class A energy performance certificate. Designed by the architect Gatis Didrihsons with the interior designer Eva Staņeviča for the developer SIA DOMUSS, the building consists of two timber volumes linked by glass around a garden. Around 50 m³ of Accoya wood, supplied by SBM Fastwood, were used for nearly 1,000 m² of facade in panels prefabricated in the factory by TC Grupa Latvia, with a light Teknos finish. Completed in November 2019, this project is a first for Accoya in the Baltic states: the wood was chosen for its exceptional durability in the face of damp and sun, as well as for the dimensional stability that guarantees a facade free of distortion.
