Renovation of Soria old town

For the recovery of the surroundings of the church of La Mayor in Soria, carried out by the architect Axel Klein O’Farrel in collaboration with the Buildworks studio, an enclosure formed of 1,331 chestnut slats was erected around the archaeological ruins uncovered beside the church apse. By playing with the lighting, a warm atmosphere is created that brings out the night-time beauty of the historic centre of Soria. Siero Lam supplied the screens, the glulam sections and the cladding for this work.
