WPP group office building, Madrid

The communications and advertising group WPP bought the former Telefónica headquarters in Madrid and undertook a major complete renovation of the building, led by BDG architecture + design in collaboration with b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos, in order to turn it into a modern, efficient building. The renovation includes a new curtain wall facade in chestnut and aluminium, highly transparent and acoustically insulated. Since the facade is the most visible part and has to remain unaltered over time, the choice of high-quality, durable materials, supplied by Siero Lam, was essential.
