Meister is a German manufacturer of interior floor coverings: parquet, laminate flooring and design floors. Published by MeisterWerke Schulte GmbH, the company is a family-owned business founded in 1930 and based in Rüthen-Meiste, in the Sauerland region of Germany. It employs more than 700 people and brings together three brands: MEISTER, HAIN and moderna. The company focuses its business on floors and wall solutions for the home, combining industrial expertise and woodworking. It highlights innovation and design, backed by awards: the TOP 100 innovation seal and the Red Dot Design Award. Its Lindura technology, which makes better use of raw material, illustrates this positioning: 5.5 m³ of oak can be used to produce up to 3,600 m² of flooring. The catalog covers parquet, Lindura wood floors, Natureflex floors, MeisterDesign design floors (without PVC or plasticizers) and laminate floors. The range extends to wall solutions with MeisterPanels panels (wall paneling and acoustic panels), as well as profiled skirting boards, moldings, underlays and installation accessories. Meister places its business within an environmental approach: its wood comes from sustainably managed forests, certified PEFC and FSC, and several products carry the Blauer Engel (Blue Angel) label. Its laminate floors are made from 95% natural resources, mainly wood. The company also rolls out internal measures such as energy management, LED lighting and the electrification of its logistics.
