Silverwood

Silverwood is a French manufacturer of cladding, paneling, and wood fittings made from the planing of softwoods. A brand of the ISB Group (a French industrial specialist in wood solutions), headquartered in Saint-Malo, Brittany, Silverwood relies on an industrial activity launched in 1962. Production is carried out in France in the brand’s five factories, with the group claiming a capacity of around 4 million m² of planed wood per year and bringing together nearly 350 employees. The company has made planing and primary processing of softwoods its core business. It masters several stages of the chain, from raw material selection to factory finishing, including drying, brushing, and preservative treatment. Douglas fir cladding, sourced locally and certified Bois de France, illustrates this positioning. The catalog covers a wide range for construction, fitting out and renovation: wood cladding, interior paneling and boards, decking, fences and screens, as well as structural and framing timber. The species worked include in particular Douglas fir, larch, red cedar, pine, and spruce. Silverwood offers several finishes (stain, paint, pre-weathered look) and custom services. Silverwood embeds its activity in a responsible sourcing approach, with FSC- and PEFC-certified wood and products labeled Bois de France. The group adopted a CSR charter in 2024 (responsible purchasing, decarbonized transport, safety) and applies traceability in compliance with EUTR and EUDR regulations.
