Description

The Oikos X4 is a six-axis numerically controlled machining centre designed for the fast, precise machining of cambered beams, with a maximum section of 675 x 300 mm, intended for the roofs of large buildings and for public works. Cambered beams, glued and pressed with a slight lengthwise curve, become straight under load and allow material savings of up to 10 %. Four interpolated full-stroke grippers, spread over the loading and unloading sides, allow these curved pieces to be machined fully automatically. The six-axis working unit has an eighteen-position magazine for fast tool changes in masked time. The machine also handles sections up to 1250 x 300 mm and lengths from 13.5 to 19 m, for a power of 13 to 25 kW.
