Description

cadwork C-Faster produces a structural analysis model based directly on the design carried out in cadwork: the materials, sections, supports and structural types defined in the modeller are reused with no new data entry. For simple members and timber frame construction — purlins, rafters, hips, traditional trusses, connections, bracing — the Acord-Express modules quickly process the parts drawn, including supports, sections, pitches and installation conditions. For non-symmetrical cases or those with complex loads, Acord-Bat 2D analyses plane structures under any loading. Finally, an algorithm interprets the selected 3D members in order to position the neutral axes correctly and turn the design model into an analysis model, reducing the time needed to set up a three-dimensional model.
