Cadwork is a Swiss software publisher specializing in 3D CAD/CAM solutions for timber construction, carpentry, joinery and engineering. The development of the system dates back to 1980, based on work carried out in Neuchâtel and at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), before it was adapted to timber construction in the late 1980s and a dedicated company was created. Cadwork SA is based in Châtel-Saint-Denis, Switzerland, and relies on an international network of branches, including Cadwork France (Saône, in the Doubs), Cadwork Italia (Pescara) and Cadwork Belgium (Uccle). The software is available in several languages, including French, German, English, Italian and Dutch. The company presents its solution as a benchmark in 3D CAD/CAM for timber construction, covering the process from planning to production. Its team brings together wood professionals: carpenters, engineers and technicians. In addition to publishing the software, Cadwork provides technical support, training and consulting.
