Description

cadwork 2D is the drawing production module of the cadwork suite: it turns a digital model into usable drawings — production drawings, planning application drawings, manufacturing details and construction concepts. Presented as an infinite drawing board connected to all the cadwork tools, it is used on its own or integrated into the packs. Its logic is based on the DLT menu ("Design Like you Think"), a set of action verbs designed to make the tool productive after only three days of training. Interoperability covers the integration of PDF, DXF and DWG as well as generic outputs to the other software on the market. Technically, it is a 2.5D CAD system: each element can be an extrusion that is projectable in 3D, with two-dimensional processing and height information.
