Description

cadwork Charpente is an add-on module for cadwork 3D intended for carpenters. From edge lines whose pitches have been entered, it automatically generates the roof junction that serves as the basis for the structure. A few parameters are then enough to place purlins, rafters, hips and valleys, directly usable in production, to which the parametric trusses are added. The module also offers a roof covering study: calculation of the batten spacing taking into account the predefined covering type, then a detailed list of the tile quantities and of the linear metres of ridge, eaves and verge. The stated aim is to produce roof junctions and roof structure members in a reduced time, drawing on the advanced features of the modeller.
