Description
cadwork Optipanneaux optimises panel cutting in order to minimise offcuts. The commercial dimensions supplied by the supplier are defined, the panels are exported from cadwork, and the software calculates the best way to produce the parts while respecting the kerf and edge-trim parameters. The process runs in four stages — stock, management of the panels to be cut, optimisation, result displayed as a diagram and as a list with offcut percentages. The tool is interoperable through the .csv format, usable with cadwork or with other software, and even allows a cutting list to be entered by hand without any CAD/CAM software. It comes in two versions: Standard, for rectangular parts, and Professional, which adds the handling of polygons and openings. Getting started relies on a simple video tutorial.
