Description

An automatic station for closing the lid of pre-cut cardboard cases in the FEFCO 410 format, by hot-melt gluing. The product is placed manually in the pre-formed box, then fed into the machine, which automatically detects the dimensions of the carton and can therefore handle boxes of different sizes presented in sequence. Hot-melt technology ensures a closure of consistent quality over time, while the automatic reading of dimensions makes the machine suitable both for series production and for small batches, down to batch one. The pack c works as a stand-alone station or fits into a complete packaging line, with 3D measurement of the product, automatic cutting of the adhesive tape, box forming and palletising. This solution is aimed in particular at makers of flat-pack furniture. The reference output reaches eight boxes for a length of 1,200 mm; the machine remains customisable to the customer’s needs.
