Cursal TRSI optimising cross-cut saw with integrated drilling

Description

The TRSI with integrated drilling system is a Cursal pusher-feed optimising cross-cut saw fitted with a drilling unit with a variable number of spindles, which drills the boards from above within the same cross-cutting cycle. The configuration shown includes a drilling unit with five independent spindles set ahead of the blade, with a 70 mm pneumatic stroke, a Ø10 shank fitting and alternating right-hand/left-hand bits, driven by a 1.8 kW motor; the bit accepts a maximum diameter of 25 mm. The assembly is mounted on a carriage running on four recirculating ball bearings and is positioned precisely. This integration does away with a second drilling operation at a separate station and saves valuable production time. CNC-controlled, the machine combines optimised cross-cutting and drilling on a Ø500 mm blade, for workshops running cutting and drilling back to back on the same boards.
