Cursal TRSI optimising cross-cut saw with strapping unit

Description

The TRSI with strapping unit is a configuration of the Cursal TRSI pusher-feed optimising cross-cut saw incorporating a strapping unit downstream of the cross-cutting station. After the optimised cut, the pieces are bundled and then strapped automatically, so that cutting and packaging follow on from each other on a single line, with no intermediate handling. This integration cuts down handling, secures the bundle and saves valuable time at the end of the line, which is particularly useful in sawmills and in the production of sawn timber for despatch. The TRSI base retains its modular single-block frame, stable and distortion-free, together with its pusher feed for accurate, repeatable positioning of the workpieces. CNC-controlled, the machine brings together optimised cross-cutting and automated strapping. It is aimed at sawmills and production units wanting to industrialise the bundling and packaging of their sawn timber as it leaves the cross-cut saw.
