Description
Power Top is a patented CNC machining centre that machines the upper and lower faces of a panel at the same time, for the production of worktops and shelves. Two independent, opposed milling units, one upper and one lower, each with 3 axes and a liquid-cooled 12 kW motor, work both faces in a single pass. This principle greatly improves and speeds up in-line machining of the panel by doing away with turning the workpiece over. An 11-position automatic tool-change magazine allows operations to follow one another without interruption. CNC control ensures accuracy and repeatability on production runs. Power Top is aimed at manufacturers of worktops, shelves and panel components looking to increase output on double-sided machining.
