Essetre

Essetre is an Italian manufacturer of computer numerical control (CNC) machining centres for woodworking, timber framing and timber construction. Founded in 1979 by Giovanni Sella, the company is based in Thiene, in the province of Vicenza (Veneto region, Italy), where it operates a production site of around 9,000 m². Still a family-owned company now run by two generations, it claims a commercial presence in Europe and internationally. Essetre designs and manufactures custom CNC machines: each machining centre is studied and built according to the customer's needs. Initially focused on a variety of applications (kitchens, joinery, furniture), the company says it now dedicates most of its production to machines intended for timber framing, glued laminated beams and CLT/X-LAM walls. The range is structured around the Techno series, which includes numerous models: Techno Progress, Techno Multiwall and Multiwall XS, Techno PF 1250 EVO and PF 2T, Techno Fast, Techno One, Techno PM, Techno Turn EVO as well as Techno Saw. These centres machine straight and curved beams, timber framing elements and CLT/X-LAM panels. Other machines (Fusion, Power Top, Antea, Gantry) target panels, worktops and furniture. The machines are driven by the in-house E-Live software, featuring 3D visualisation and an anti-collision system. Essetre places its approach within the principles of Industry 5.0 (respect for the environment and employees) and is ISO 14001 certified (environmental management).
