Description

The Techno Multiwall XS is a moving-gantry CNC machining centre for machining frames, timber frame walls and CLT walls. A flexible beam clamping system made up of pneumatic pistons holds the walls firmly during machining. Its 5-axis milling unit, driven by an 11 kW motor, has automatic tool change and a magazine, and is completed by stapling and nailing units for assembling timber frame panels. The moving gantry frees up a wide work area and makes loading large frames easier. The control desk and the E-Live software centralise programming. Compact compared with the Multiwall, the Techno Multiwall XS is aimed at prefabricators of timber frame and CLT walls looking for a machining and assembly cell within a controlled footprint.
