Description

The K 740 PCS is a Felder sliding table saw fitted with the PCS safety system (Preventive Contact System), which stops the blade within a few milliseconds when it detects contact with skin. It takes blades up to 400 mm in diameter for a cutting height of 140 mm, with a sliding table offering a cutting length of 1,300 mm. The X-Roll guidance gives accurate and lasting travel, and the scoring unit guarantees a clean cut in veneered panels. The rip fence and the mitre fence allow precise cutting. Compact and sturdy, this configuration is aimed at workshops that want a machine with a controlled footprint while benefiting from a high level of operator safety, particularly useful in training or on shared workstations.
