This tunnel dries lacquered parts while controlling temperature and humidity at the same time. The air is delivered through grilles and axial fans that give an even distribution across the whole throughput section. Heating is provided by an electric element or by hot water. The distinctive feature of the equipment lies in its closed-circuit air flow: the moisture is removed by condensation rather than exhausted, which does away with the air inlet and outlet stacks and delivers a substantial energy saving compared with an open tunnel.
