Finishing & surface treatment
Description
The Dry Box is an enclosed chamber intended for drying and dehumidifying parts coated with water-soluble products, the moisture being removed by condensation. The heat input comes from an electric element or a hot water circuit. Temperature and humidity are controlled, and the air moves in a horizontal laminar flow for even drying from one end of the load to the other. Continuous air filtration keeps the enclosure free of dust, a critical point with films that are still open. Access is through a powered opening. Finiture offers the chamber as a bespoke design or in three standard versions, sized to take one, two or three manual trolleys. As on the dehumidifying tunnel, no exhaust or fresh air ducting is required, and the cycle runs quickly at low temperature.
