Finishing & surface treatment
Description
This ventilated tunnel dries lacquered parts by circulating hot air. Air distribution is adjusted outlet by outlet, which allows the drying profile to be matched to the geometry of the parts being carried and dead zones to be avoided. An electronic temperature control system holds the set point, and air filtration is continuous so that dust is not redeposited on the freshly applied films. An adjustable bypass allows partial recycling of the air, a trade-off between energy consumption and air renewal. Air heating can be provided by an electric element, by hot water, by steam or by a fuel-fired generator, according to the energy sources available on site. Operation is from a low-voltage control cabinet. Finiture sizes the tunnel to the finishing line it is built into.
