Description

The Press booth works at slight positive pressure: air held above ambient pressure prevents outside dust from entering the application zone. The air enters through a plenum fitted with high-efficiency EU5 class filters, giving an efficiency of 98%. The large plenum area lowers the intake velocity and limits turbulence inside the enclosure. The booth separates the spraying chamber from the drying chamber, which allows the two operations to follow on without moving parts to another station. The pressurisation units are installed outside and sized to reduce the noise and vibration passed to the booth. Fouling of the filter media is monitored automatically. Air heating is provided by a hot water, steam, gas or diesel generator, and the design is bespoke.
