Description

The RAS is an anthropomorphic robot intended to automate finishing in the workshop. A light-barrier scanner, reading in two and three dimensions, recognises items of varying shapes, sizes and inclinations and adapts the tool path accordingly. The machine accepts conventional spraying as well as electrostatic spraying, and handles one-component as readily as two-component products, water-based or solvent-based. An independent washing circuit allows a quick colour change without stopping the line. Product consumption and the minimum tank level are monitored continuously. The motion program is processed in real time on six axes or more, and a seventh axis can be brought in to handle large profiles.
