Dust extraction & air treatment

Description

The REC recovers the energy held in the air extracted from a finishing installation in order to preheat the fresh air brought into the workshop. Its exchanger is built in laminar aluminium, a structure that offers a large exchange surface within a small footprint. Finiture sizes each unit to the site's energy recovery requirement: the air volumes involved, the temperature difference and the running time of the line. The incoming air is filtered before passing through the exchanger, which protects the exchange surfaces from fouling. A condensate drainage system deals with the water forming on the cold side of the exchanger. The unit is fitted to the extraction circuit of the same manufacturer's spray booths, drying tunnels or air make-up units, and rounds out an energy reduction programme.
