Dust extraction & air treatment
Description
The UMH holds the humidity level of a finishing workshop or a storage room by high-pressure humidification: the water is sprayed as fine droplets that evaporate before settling on the workpieces. Control is handled by an electronic system with a display, on which the humidity settings are adjusted and monitored. A filtration and softening unit treats the water upstream of the nozzles, which limits scaling of the circuit and mineral deposits on the surfaces. The system earns its place wherever dry air penalises production: workshops heated in winter, areas close to the drying tunnels, and timber storage rooms where dimensional stability depends on the ambient humidity. Finiture fits it to its finishing installations as ancillary equipment.
