F4Solid is Format4's 3D CAM software for driving 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machining centres. F4Solid handles the manufacture of staircases, free forms and the machining of surfaces of revolution. Thanks to its 3D engine, F4Solid generates complex tool paths for curved parts. F4Solid turns 3D models into machining programs that the CNC machines can run. By covering 3, 4 and 5 axes, F4Solid extends what the machining centres can do. F4Solid is aimed at workshops producing complex 3D parts and multi-axis machining.
