Description
The Kappa 550 X-Motion combines the large cutting capacity of the Kappa 550 range with Format4's X-Motion positioning electronics. With blades up to 550 mm in diameter, it reaches a cutting height of 202 mm, and 146 mm at 45° thanks to the 0–46° tilt. The electronic positioning of the blade height and tilt speeds up the settings, while the sliding table offers a cutting length of 2,800 mm on the X-Roll guidance guaranteed for 10 years. The saw arbor on double bearings guarantees vibration-free work and a consistent cut. The central control with LED display and cutting programs simplifies daily operation. A scoring unit provides the finish on veneered panels, for intensive use in joinery and fit-out.
