Description
Reconciling controlled production costs with perfect machining results remains difficult with the usual planing systems. The CentroPlan planing tool holder answers both requirements: the reversible knives with a razor edge form, positioned directly in the body of the holder, give high concentricity and finish-quality surfaces. The knives are clamped without screws and the diameter stays constant, with no gauge or setting device: knife changes are quick and machine stops stay short. The use of reconditioned carbide knives limits the consumption of cutting material. The tool is offered in cutting widths of 130, 166 and 236 mm for a diameter of 125 mm. It is aimed at four-sided planers and moulders, and handles softwoods and hardwoods as well as thermoplastics.
