Description

The Accord 42 FX is a CNC machining centre specialising in the manufacture of windows, doors and staircases, with boring and routing capability on solid timber. Its working area reaches 6,360 mm in X and 1,905 mm in Y, with 350 mm of Z clearance suited to joinery sections. It combines a very powerful 3/4-axis spindle of up to 21 kW with a 12 kW 5-axis spindle, both running at 24,000 rpm. The axes move at 95 m/min in X. The tool magazines total up to 76 positions for running long machining sequences. The machine suits joinery shops producing made-to-measure window and door units and looking for a sturdy, accurate centre suited to long components.
